KASE determined the leading operators of the exchange's GS purchase-sale sector in December and for year 2007

/IRBIS, Ruslan Dzyubaylo, February 29, 08/ - Kazakhstan stock exchange
(KASE) determined the list of companies - leading operators of exchange's
purchase-sale market for government securities (GS) in Kazakhstan in
January 2008.
Companies were ranked according to the stake of deals made by them in
total gross turnover of trades (total of purchased and sold bonds) in the
secondary market. Position of each participant is expressed in Kazakhstan
tenge, only deals, closed by open trades method on KASE, were taken into
account.
A total of 13 companies participated in making GS purchase-sale deals on
KASE in January. Below is the list of ten most active operators given in
descending order of their stakes in total deals volume (companies'
headquarters are in Almaty) and their positions in November of the current
year. The stake of these operators in December was 99.2% out of the
turnover of the exchange GS sector.

organization of Bank TuranAlem JSC TuranAlem Securities JSC, RBNT
SECURITIES JSC and Almaty Investment Managment JSC, having replaced
from top-10 ATFBank JSC (Almaty, seventh position), Daughter Joint stock
Bank ABN AMRO Bank Kazakhstan JSC (Almaty, ninth position) and
Kazkommerts Invest JSC (Almaty, tenth position).
