In January of 2008 volume of all transactions at KASE decreased by 12.1% relative to corresponding peirod of year 2007
/IRBIS, Vitaliy Tomskiy, February 11, 08/ - In January of 2008 total volume of transactions made in all sectors of Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) had reached the equivalent of $20,534.7 m. or KZT2,471.8 bn. Compared to corresponding period of year 2007 (January) volume of operations decreased by 12.1% in dollar and by 15.9% in tenge equivalent. Relative to previous month - December 2007 - the exchange turnover decreased by 19.5% in dollar and by 20.0% in tenge expression.
Below is given the comparative table of indicators of deals' volume on KASE in January 2008 and also dynamics of structure of exchange turnover (m. USD, if other is not specified). Estimation is made in dollar equivalent of turnover.
