Kazkommertsbank JSC appointed organizers of syndicated loan for $400 m.

/INTERFAX-KAZAKHSTAN, Almaty, July 23, 07/ - Kazkommertsbank appointed Citi, Mizuho, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ and Standard Bank the organizers of the syndicated loan for $400 m., Thomson Financial agency informs. Kazkommertsbank borrows this loan for one year at 25 basis points plus LIBOR. As it was informed, Kazkommertsbank in June borrowed a syndicated loan for $300 m. for financing of retail mortgage loans and loans for small and medium business. European bank for reconstruction and development (EBRD), Calyon and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe Limited acted as the organizers of the loan. The deal was organized by the structure of two tranches А/В. Tranche А was given by EBRD for the term of 7 years, and tranche В - for 5 years with participation of commercial banks syndicate. In "Interfax-1000" ranking: Banks of CIS ", prepared by "Interfax-CEA", by the results of year 2006 Kazkommertsbank took the first place by the volume of assets among banks of Kazakhstan and the fourth place among banks of CIS.
