Agrarian credit corporation plans to issue securities on foreign and domesti markets in year 2008 for up to KZT18 bn.

/INTERFAX-KAZAKHSTAN, Astana, May 17, 07/ - Agrarian credit corporation JSC (in the staff of KazAgro state holding) by year 2008 plans to place bonds on the domestic market for a total of about KZT5 bn., on foreign markets - about KZT12-13 bn. in foreign currency (current 119.57/$1), Askarbek Karazhigito the company chairman said. "The next year we plan to make placement for about KZT5 bn. on domestic market and about KZT12-13 bn. - on foreign one, because it's cheaper to do it on foreign market", - he said on Thursday in Astana at the press- conference. He said that the agro-credit corporation will place eurobonds the next year, "if Finance ministry and holding (KazAgro. - "IF-K") permit". Having reminded that the corporation already announced about bonds placement this year on the domestic market for KZT3 bn., Karazhigitov has said the corporation has no more such plans in this year. Karazhigitov has also said that since activity-start (year 2001) it spent over KZT30 bn. to rural credit partnerships for financing of projects in the branch. This year, Karazhigitov said, the agro-credit corporation plans to spend about KZT14.5 bn. for these purposes, among which KZT6.5 bn. will be funds of the republican budget, over KZT4 bn. - company's own resources and KZT3 bn. - funds, received from domestic bonds placement.
