/IRBIS, Natalya Khoroshevskaya, May 4, 07/ - Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) has determined leading operators of exchange's stock market in April, 2007.

Companies are ranked according to the stake of deals made by it in total gross turnover of trades (total of purchased and sold shares on the main floor of KASE an on the special trading floor of the regional financial center of Almaty) in the secondary market. Position of each participant of trades is computed in Kazakhstan tenge. While preparing the rating, information only on deals, closed on stock exchange by open trade method, was used.

A total of 41 companies participated in concluding stock purchase and sale deals on KASE in April. Below is the list of ten most active operators in descending order of their shares in total deals volume (all headquarters are located in Almaty). Share of these operators in April was 91.3% of turnover of the open exchange market of equity instruments.

Halyk Finance JSC (Almaty, the seventh position in March);

Daughter organization of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan Halyk Capital JSC (Almaty, participant of RFCA, the eighth position in March);

First Broker's House JSC Almaty, tenth position in March).

Below is corresponding table of the most active KASE's members of "P" and "H" categories in the sector within the first 4 months of 2007. A total of 49 companies (their headquarters are situated in Almaty, if other is not specified) participated in performing deals within this period. The stake of "ten best" was 81.69% gross-turnover of stock purchase and sale deals on KASE.
