/IRBIS, Sergey Yakovlev, May 4, 07/ - In April 2007 total volume of transactions made in all sectors of Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) in dollar expression increased relatively to the previous month by 18.2% and made the equivalent of $24,887.7 m. In tenge equivalent the growth is estimated at 16.1% and the volume of exchange operations - 3,035.8 bn.
The pointed value of turnover is the highest monthly turnover on KASE for the whole period of exchange's existence (since November 1993).
Relative to April 2006 the volume of exchange turnover in described month has increased 2.5 times in dollar and 2.4 times in tenge equivalent.
