Mynbayev has become the head of the state holding Samruk

/INTERFAX, Astana, January 19, 07/ - As the Chairman of board of Kazakhstan holding of state assets management Samruk JSC Sauat Mynbayev has been appointed, who had been its executive director before, reported the state holding. The president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the corresponding order on January 13, the press service of the holding Samruk informed the agency Interfax-Kazakhstan on Friday. 44-year-old S. Mynbayev is the graduate of MSU, economist- cyberneticist, the candidate of economic science. In different years he worked as a vice- premier, was at the head of the ministry of industry and trade, as well as headed Kazakhstan delegation of experts in the Group of high-level countries, which form the Common economic space (Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belorussia). The sole shareholder of the holding Samruk is the state in the person of the ministry of economics and budget planning of the republic. The state holding Samruk was established by the order of the state's head in January of last year. At the first stage the holding received state-owned share holding of five companies: Kazakhtelecom JSC, Kazpost JSC, companies for electric networks management KEGOC JSC, the oil and gas company NC KazMunayGas JSC and the railway company Kazakhstan temir zholy JSC (KTZ).
