/IRBIS, Valeriy Khegay, January 4, 07/ - In 2006 volume of repo transactions made on Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) reached KZT14,345.3 bn. ($113,985.3 m.) and compared to similar period of last year increased by 77.3% (by 87.3% in dollar terms).

In 2004 volume of corresponding transactions on KASE has not exceeded KZT5,683.5 bn. ($42,012.0 m.).

Following is the table of volumes of repo deals made on KASE in 2006 grouped by months as well as the structure of turnover and comparable data for 2005 (m. KZT).
