KASE determined leading operators of stock exchange's corporate bonds market in Kazakhstan in October and within the period of the first 10 months of 2006
/IRBIS, Natalya Khoroshevskaya, November 3, 06/ - Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) has determined leading operators of stock exchange's corporate bonds market in October, 2006.
Companies are ranked according to the stake of deals made by it in total gross turnover of trades (total of purchased and sold shares). At that, only operations of purchase and sale in secondary market are taken into account, excluding work of brokers with government blocks of shares (GBS). Position of each participant of trades is expressed in Kazakhstan tenge.
A total of 37 companies in October participated in making deals in shares purchase and sale on KASE. Below is the list of ten most active operators in descending order of their stakes in total deals volume (all headquarters are in Almaty). Stake of these operators in October was 80.7% of turnover of corresponding sector of stock exchange.

Newcomers of the "active ten" relative to September 2006 became Bank TuranAlem JSC, Financial company REAL-INVEST.kz JSC, Kazkommertsbank JSC, Almaty finacial center JSC having replaced Investment Finacial House RESMI JSC (Almaty, first position in September), ATFBank JSC (Almaty, eighth position in September), BCC Invest (daughter organization of Bank CenterCredit JSC) (Almaty, ninth position in September) and Kazkommerts Invest JSC (Almaty, tenth position in September).
The table is given below, characterizing the most active KASE members of "P" and "H" categories in the specified sector within the period of the first 10 months of year 2006. 50 companies took part in making deals within this period. Stake of these "active ten" was 68.0% of turnover of purchase and sales deals on KASE.
