/INTERFAX-KAZAKHSTAN, Almaty, October 16, 06 / - By the decision of the general meting of shareholders of Kazakhstan commercial Valut-Transit- Bank (VTB), held on October 15, authorities of members of the Board of directors of VTB were terminated ahead of time and its new staff was determined. As it was indicated in bank's press release, spread on Monday, eight people have been determined the new members of the Board of directors, their term of office is 3 years. Thus, Steven Johnson, Malcolm Douglas, Kamal Allabush, Inesh Ibrayeva and Malcolm Tott have become the members of the Board of directors of Valut-Transit-Bank JSC. At that, independent directors as Steven Habble, Frank Lazel and Riz Griffith have become part of the board. Steven Lee Johnson has been elected the Chairman of bank's Board of directors. Besides, according to the press release, by the decision of the Board of directors Indira Sagyndikova has been appointed the Chairman of the Board of Valut-Transit-Bank JSC. [2006-10-16]
