KASE determined leading operators of stock exchange's corporate bonds market in Kazakhstan in September and within the period of the first 9 months of 2006
/IRBIS, Assel Omarova, October 3, 06/ - Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) has determined leading operators of stock exchange's corporate bonds market in September, 2006.
Companies are ranked according to the stake of deals made by it in total gross turnover of trades (total of purchased and sold shares). At that, only operations of purchase and sale in secondary market are taken into account, excluding work of brokers with government blocks of shares (GBS). Position of each participant of trades is expressed in Kazakhstan tenge.
A total of 31 companies in July participated in making deals in shares purchase and sale on KASE. Below is the list of ten most active operators in descending order of their stakes in total deals volume (all headquarters are in Almaty). Stake of these operators in September was 86.6% of turnover of corresponding sector of stock exchange.

Newcomers of the "active ten" relative to August 2006 became Halyk savings bank of Kazakhstan JSC, BANK CASPIAN JSC, BCC Invest JSC (daughter organization of Bank CenterCredit JSC) and Kazkommerts Invest JSC having replaced MONEY EXPERTS JSC (Almaty, third position in August), Bank TuranAlem JSC (Almaty, fourth position in August), Kazakhstan financial company (Alamty, fifth position in August) and Financial company REAL-INVEST.kz JSC (Almaty, sixth position in August).
The table is given below, characterizing the most active KASE members of "P" and "H" categories in the specified sector within the period of the first nine months of year 2006. 49 companies took part in making deals within this period. Stake of these "active ten" was 68.2% of turnover of purchase and sales deals on KASE.
