KazakhGold has appointed Wardell Armstrong International for reclassification of its stocks according to JORC code

/INTERFAX-KAZAKHSTAN, London, July 7, 06/ - KazakhGold (mother company of Kazakhaltyn) has appointed Wardell Armstrong International (WAI) for holding of reclassification of reserves and resources explored. As official message informs the company intends to reconsider classification of reserves according to international code - JORC. KazakhGold is planning in the first turn to classify reserves of B and С1 categories on the principal fields of the company pursuant to JORC code - "Aksu", "Bestobe" and "Zholybmet". In autumn last year KazakhGold offered at London stock exchange 25% of shares in the form of GDR. As a result of IPO the company borrowed $196.6 m. [2006-07-10]
