/KASE, May 17, 06/ - Exploring Mining Kazmunaygas JSC (Astana), shares of which are included in KASE's official "А" listing category, has informed KASE of that on June 12 of 2006 at 10:00 a.m. the special general meeting of shareholders will take place with the agenda as follows:

• on approval in making deals where an interest of Exploring Mining Kazmunaygas JSC exists.

Meeting location: 20/1 Karanbay batyr Av. fourth floor, conference-room, Astana city. Time of the beginning of registration of shareholders is 09:00 a.m.

The list of shareholders, entitled to take part in the meeting, will be arranged as of June 2 of 2006.

In case of quorum absence the meeting will be rerun on June 13 of 2006 at the same time on above-mentioned address.
