Adil Mukhamejanov at the Capital Markets Forum. On digital assets at KASE

KASE's Management Board Chairman Adil Mukhamejanov presented to international investors the tokenized instruments of Kazakhstan’s capital market and a model for regulated access to them via the platform.
The issue model relies on integration of three institutional components: KASE structures the assets within a regulated exchange environment, the Solana blockchain enables fast and cost-effective tokenization, and BitGo provides institutional custody and listing for global distribution. The Exchange’s head emphasized that the project leverages KASE’s infrastructure with an average daily trading volume of $4.5 bln, which complies with CPMI-IOSCO principles and has undergone external audits against ISO standards.
International investors gain access to Kazakhstan’s government bonds as well as corporate bonds from leading issuers.
"Tokenizing of real-world assets on a regulated Exchange creates a direct and transparent access channel for international investors to the Kazakhstan’s capital market", noted Adil Mukhamejanov.
