Webinar "Introduction to the Derivatives Market"

On April 24, KASE hosted a webinar called "Introduction to the Derivatives Market" — participants learned what the futures market is, why investors need it, and how futures are traded.

Leading specialist of KASE's Trading Department Altynai Kumashova spoke about the basic concepts, features of futures contracts and their use for hedging and speculative strategies.

Participants also discussed examples of transactions and typical strategies used by both novice and experienced investors.

The webinar was moderated by Nurbek Adambekov, coordinator of educational programs at KASE's Issuers and Investors Relations Department.
