/IRBIS, Assel Omarova, June 6, 05/ - CNPC-Aktobemunaigas JSC (Aktobe), whose shares are circulating in Kazakhstan stock exchange's (KASE) official "А" listing category, has started building a new base of the department of production-technical provision and equipment kitting (DPTP and EK), company's press-release says.

The new base of DPTP and EK will be one of central ones for the company for it will be situated near objects, where oil is produced. Precisely to this base main cargoes and inventory meant for oil and gas production and drilling and exploration of new wells will be delivered by Zhem - Zhanazhol railroad. General contractor of DPTP and EK building is Contact LLP.

According to the presented information, U. Yaoven chairman of the board of directors of CNDOC visited the ceremony of opening of DPTP and EK building.

U. Yaoven met with Aktybunsk oblast's akim and visited some objects of the company - being built Zhanazhol-KS-13 and railway station Zhanazhol, and also familiarized himself with the activity of Kenkiyak-Zhanazhol oil and gas pipeline. This release was set in exploitation in the beginning of April of 2005. Its length is 44 km, and carrying capacity - 2 m. 200 th. tons per year. Such the pipeline has first been introduced in the history and on the territory of CIS, the project is efficient and consumes little energy.

Company's primary activities: mine workings and extraction of hydrocarbon raw stuff; drilling of exploration, structure and operational wells; exploration, survey and exploitation of oil and gas deposits; refining of oil and gas, transportation and sale of oil, gas and products of their refining; receiving and sale of electrical and heat energy; building of pipelines and pipeline transportation; mine workings and extraction of drilled mineral resource and mineral resource of joint origin, their selling and other activities in compliance with Company's charter and licenses, which company possesses.
