/KASE, January 30, 2026/ – KazTransOil JSC (KASE ticker – KZTO) reported the following:

In 2025, KazTransOil JSC saved more than KZT 361.4 million as a result of implementing a comprehensive set of energy conservation and energy efficiency improvement measures.

As part of the Year of Energy Efficiency announced by KazMunayGas JSC, KazTransOil JSC implemented a full range of measures provided for in the Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency Program for 2025. The projects implemented have resulted in significant energy savings and confirmed the effectiveness of a systematic approach to energy consumption management.

By year-end, total energy consumption decreased by 1.1% compared to the previous year, which is equivalent to 1,440 tonnes of standard fuel (toe). Specific energy consumption per oil freight turnover declined from 3.7 to 3.61 toe/million tonnekilometres, representing a 2.4% reduction and reflecting the company’s consistent efforts to improve the energy efficiency of its technological processes.
