Thanks to a timely organized constructive negotiation process with international partners and shippers, the possibility of reorienting the international oil flows from the Caspian Pipeline Consortium pipeline system to Samara and BTC and redirecting part of the supply volumes to China was agreed upon.
As a result, an increase in oil supply volumes along export routes in December 2025, compared to the initial transportation schedule approved by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is:
- Atyrau - Samara - by 232 thou. tons;
- China - by 72 thou. tons;
- Aktau port (in the direction of Baku - Tbilisi - Ceyhan) - by 58 thou. tons.
Additionally, during December 2025, KazTransOil JSC will give the oil producing companies an opportunity to temporarily store oil in a tank farm for safekeeping. This allows to ensure flexibility in shipping schedules, optimization of pumping modes and uninterrupted supplies through the main oil pipeline system.
