/KASE, November 5, 2025/ – Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) has published on its website a review of the Index of Business Activity in Kazakhstan (BAI) for October 2025, which was prepared by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan based on the results of a monthly survey of enterprises and includes a set of enterprises' answers to questions regarding actual changes in economic indicators of enterprises and expectations regarding their change in the future.

The BAI is an indicator that characterizes the state of the economy in the real sector, allows you to explore the dynamics of economic trends, critical and turning points of the business cycle.

According to the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

"In October 2025, the business activity remained in the positive area.

Activity kept positive in production, service, and trade, where the index stayed in the growth area, amounting to 53.0, 50.6, and 50.2, respectively (compared to 52.9, 50.8, and 50.7 in September). In construction and mining, the indicators remained in the negative area. A slight deterioration was recorded in the mining industry, with the index decreasing from 49.4 in September to 48.5 in October, while in construction the index remained almost unchanged at 49.5.".
