/KASE, October 6, 2025/ – Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) has published on its website a review of the Index of Business Activity in Kazakhstan (BAI) for September 2025, which was prepared by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan based on the results of a monthly survey of enterprises and includes a set of enterprises' answers to questions regarding actual changes in economic indicators of enterprises and expectations regarding their change in the future.

The BAI is an indicator that characterizes the state of the economy in the real sector, allows you to explore the dynamics of economic trends, critical and turning points of the business cycle.

According to the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

"In September 2025, business activity remained almost unchanged, with the indicator staying in the positive area since March 2024.

The business activity was 50.9 in September 2025 (51.0 in August).

Activity remained stable in production, service, and trade, where the index stayed in the growth area, amounting to 53.0, 51.0, and 50.8, respectively (compared to 53.8, 51.2, and 51.2 in August). In construction and the mining industry, despite the indicators remaining in the negative area, an improvement was observed — up to 49.5 and 49.3 (from 48.1 and 48.3 in August).".
