/KASE, August 5, 2025/ – Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) has published on its website a review of the Index of Business Activity in Kazakhstan (BAI) for July 2025, which was prepared by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan based on the results of a monthly survey of enterprises and includes a set of enterprises' answers to questions regarding actual changes in economic indicators of enterprises and expectations regarding their change in the future.

The BAI is an indicator that characterizes the state of the economy in the real sector, allows you to explore the dynamics of economic trends, critical and turning points of the business cycle.

According to the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

"In July 2025, business activity improved, with positive trends observed across all sectors.

An improvement in activity was recorded in trade, service, and production, where the indicators showed positive growth, reaching 53.0, 52.4, and 51.7 respectively (compared to 51.6, 51.4, and 51.5 in June). In construction and mining, despite improvement in dynamics, business activity remained in the negative area, standing at 47.3 and 48.4 (45.0 and 47.8 in June).".
