Kazakhstan PM clarified responsibilities of Prime minister, deputy ministers and head of clerical office

/Interfax-Kazakhstan, Astana, April 27, 04/ -Kazakhstan PM Danial Akhmetov reallocated responsibilities between Prime minister, vice ministers and heads of clerical office of the government.

The government head signed a corresponding order on last Monday, PM press service told in a statement released on Tuesday.

As informed, on April 14 the president approved resignation of first deputy minister Gregory Marchenko, appointed as his adviser later.

D.Akhmetov is now responsible for managing government's activities, represent the government before the president, the parliament, Constitutional court, Supreme court, General Prosecutor's office and other constitutional bodies.

As per new order, PM should supervise international relations and cooperation, economic and finance policy, defense, issues on oil and gas sector development as well as coordinating legislative activities of the government, managing the activities of republican budgeting committee and Council on economic politics.

At the same time, Sauat Mynbayev deputy prime minister became responsible for realization of industrial-innovation development strategy, state program on housing construction, investment policy, coordinating activities of state bodies on concerning issues on the development of manufacturing sector of the economy, integration between CIS members, Kazakhstan's admission to WTO.

Mynbayev also responsible for regulation of activities of development institutions.

In turn, deputy PM - minister of agriculture Akmetzhan Yesimov supervises mainly issues of regional politics, rural areas development, state agricultural program realization.

The head of PM clerical office, Altay Tleuberdin coordinates activities of central and local executive bodies, protection of state secrets and information security. He is also responsible for the monitoring human resource policy implementation in the government, regional policy of the government, coordination of activities of statwe bodies regarding educational issues, science, information, culture and public health. Tleuberdin also supervises activities of ministries of Education and Science, Information, Culture and Public Health.
