/KASE, August 22, 03/ - Chaika OJSC (Karaganda), whose shares have been brought to Kazakhstan stock exchange's (KASE) non-listing floor on the first level of admission, has informed KASE that on September 25 of 2003 it will hold prescheduled general shareholders meeting, at which the question regarding the confirmation of issue terms of the company's bonds will be examined.

Place of meeting holding: 11, Michuring str., Karaganda, at 11:00 a.m. In case the quorum is absent the next shareholders meeting will be held on September 26 of 2003.

Date of making the list of shareholders, who have the right to participate in the general shareholders meeting, is August 1 of 2003.
