S&P Global Ratings affirmed ratings of Republic of Kazakhstan at "BBB- / A-3", Outlook Stable
/S&P Global Ratings, March 5, 2021, translation and heading by KASE/ – On March 5, 2021, S&P Global Ratings affirmed the long-term and short-term sovereign credit ratings of Kazakhstan in foreign and national currency at "BBB-/A-3". The outlook for the long-term ratings is stable.
We have also affirmed the "kzAAA" rating of Kazakhstan on the national scale. Translation and convertibility scores remain at "BBB".
Outlooks
The "Stable" outlook reflects our expectation that government and external balances will remain strong over the next two years. We also expect a policy continuity.
