The number of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), including individual entrepreneurs, who received support from Sberbank Kazakhstan during the emergency situation reached 1 thousand.
Immediately after the introduction of the emergency situation in the country, announcement of quarantine in Nur-Sultan, Almaty and other regions, Sberbank applied to its clients to use the opportunity to obtain a deferral of credit payments.
The Bank individually considers granting a deferral of the performance of loan obligations for up to 90 days for individual entrepreneurs and small and medium- sized enterprises whose financial condition worsened as a result of the introduction of restrictions related to the emergency situation in Kazakhstan.
The Bank has provided the ability to remotely submit applications on the website or in Sberbank Business Online and SberBusiness remote service systems for the convenience of its clients.
“First thousand clients have received a deferral of loans, and work on receiving and processing applications from entrepreneurs continues. Small and medium- sized enterprises are the most important segment of the economy of our country, which is in an extremely difficult situation. In addition, Sberbank Kazakhstan is actively involved in the implementation of the Program for concessional lending to small and medium-sized enterprises as part of a set of measures to support the economy. Entrepreneurs can receive financing at a preferential rate of 8% per annum for up to 12 months for working capital financing under this program.
