ForteBank reports taking a decision on acquiring 100% of shares of Bank Kassa Nova, belonging to Nova Leasing.

"Acquisition of Kassa Nova will consolidate banking assets of the group and open to clients of both banks access to product and technology solutions. The banks will be working on further improvement of the synergy and efficiency of their resources", says Guram Andronikashvili, the Chairman of the Management Board of ForteBank.

The Chairman of the Management Board of "Bank Kassa Nova" Sholpan Nurumbetova confirmed that this event fully corresponds with the bank's strategy on business development: "The forthcoming deal will give momentum to growth of business and profitability of Kassa Nova. We are sure that our client base will not only persist, but also will increase thanks to the strengthened position of Kassa Nova on Kazakhstan's market, thanks to access to ForteBank' technologies. And we see there good opportunities for confident development".

Bank Kassa Nova will continue its operation as a fully-fledged subsidiary bank, and meet its obligations towards depositors, creditors and investors.

Closing of the deal is expected after receipt of respective permits from the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan and permits from other creditors.
