Subsidiary Bank Sberbank of Russia announces opening KZT350.0 mln credit facility for Seven Refractories Asia

Sberbank and Seven Refractories Asia LLP manufacturing company concluded a deal to attract financing in the amount of KZT 350 million. Seven Refractories Asia LLP is a part of Seven Refractories international group specializing in the production of modern refractory materials.
The deal was supported by Entrepreneurship Development Fund DAMU JSC under Ondiris program.
"The manufacturing industry in Kazakhstan demonstrates strong growth. Only in the last 6 months the production output increased by more than 6%. Sberbank is actively investing in this industry. A quarter of the loan portfolio of corporate business falls on production with high added value. Seven Refractories Asia specializes in the production of unique products. A revolving credit line was opened to Seven Refractories Asia LLP. The first tranche of KZT 100 million was transferred in September 2017. The funds will be used to purchase raw materials for the production of refractory material, which is used in all major metallurgical plants, both domestic producers and foreign ones.
"Industrial enterprises of Kazakhstan are provided with refractories from China and Russia. Our project creates an excellent opportunity for import substitution. The company is just beginning its activities in the territory of the Republic. There are no analogues of such production in Kazakhstan. We will be the first in the production of high-quality monolithic refractories in Kazakhstan. With the financial support of Sberbank we plan to move to a qualitatively new level of products, increase production and develop a new line of business.
