/KASE, Jan 29, 02/ - Today in compliance with the listing requirements of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) Astana-finance OJSC (Astana) provided the Exchange with the extract from the shareholders register as of January 1, 2002. The registrar is Fonodvyi Tsentr CJSC (Almaty).

Based on the register, as of indicated date announced authorized capital of the company was KZT2,000m and consisted of 2,000,000 inscribed common shares (KZ1C37670011) at KZT1,000 each, including 1,832,592 shares already floated.

Following are those, who own more than 5% of paid authorized capital (stake and number of shares are shown):

• Local executive body of Astana (Akimat) - 40.83% or 748,332 common shares;
• Saya LLP (Astana) - 28.29% or 518,509 common shares;
• Jana-Arai LLP (Astana) - 13.07% or 239,455 common shares;
• Energoremservis LLP (Astana) - 5.31% or 97,265 common shares.

Astana-finance OJSC has 590 shareholders.

Now, following securities of Astana-finance OJSC are traded within official list of KASE under category "A":

• inscribed common shares (trade code - ASFI);
• first issue inscribed coupon bonds (KZ2CUY02A356, trade code - ASFIb1, $100, $10m, July 2.01 - July 2.03, semiannual coupon at 9.0% APR).

Primary activities of the company -certain banking services, investment, financing of economic and social projects under the development of Astana, as well as other activities in accordance with the Charter and available licenses.
