/KASE, March 6, 01/ - Based on the application of the trade member of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), from March 12, 2001 common registered (KZ1C00482116, NFCH) and preferred registered (KZ1Р00482111, NFCHp) shares of Neftekhimbank OJSC (Shymkent,) are admitted to the trades in "Non-listed securities" sector under second admission level.

On Sep.5, 1997 the shares of Neftekhimbank OJSC were included into additional list of KASE. According to the new requirements stipulated by "Securities Listing Regulation" on July 14, 1998 shares of the bank were transferred to category "B" of the official list.

Because of recall of the license on conduction of banking operations in tenge and foreign exchange dated June 10, 1999 #228 (resolution of the National Bank dated Apr.19, 2000 #141) and by the decision of the Exchange Council dated May 2, 2000 shares of the bank were excluded from KASE trade lists.

At present, according to the court's decision dated May 12, 2000 the bank is passing liquidation procedure.

Announced and registered authorized capital of the bank is KZT1.1 bln. The paid up part - KZT213.0 mln. In total, the bank has registered three issues of shares. The first issue for a total of KZT90.8 mln was annulled on March 31, 1997 simultaneously with registration of the second issue for a total of KZT213.0 mln. The second emission included issue of 106,500 shares with face value of KZT2000, including 79,875 - common registered and 26,625 preferred registered. Third (additional) emission was registered on June 11, 1999 for a total of KZT887.0 mln (in total - 443,500 shares, common - 420,125, preferred - 23,375).

According to the letter from NSC #02-2/18/1480 dated March 5, 2001 preliminary report on results of flotation was approved on Dec.23, 1999. However the report was not submitted to NSC for final approval due to passing of examination in NBK.
