By indicative interbank quotations of the US dollar in REUTERS information system, tenge lost 11 points on bid and 1 point on offer of the American currency in comparison with previous day closing.

The dollar hit the ceiling today after two days expansion. Resistance level at KZT144 the dealers clearly felt on the morning session signaled about draining of dollar growth potential. Quotations dealers put on the interbank and the day session fixed dollar decline. This trend lasted all day from the afternoon till the closing. At evening, rate was fixed at KZT143.91 or at lowest price of the day.

IRBIS analysts assume that market will further seek for equilibrium and the NBK would probably help them to find it. If necessarily, the NBK could support low and high ceilings. Meanwhile, market indicators suggest about possible and insignificant growth of the tenge on Friday morning trades.
