/IRBIS, Aug. 1, 00/ - Reuters informs that Kazakhmys corporation plans to increase refine copper production to 414.0 th. tons (361.8 th. tons in 1999).

For the first six months refine copper production amounted 198 th. tons (173 th. tons).

The corporation was created by joining all copper producers in the country in 1995. In the same year, Samsung group was given a right to manage the corporation.
