/IRBIS, Apr.12, 00/ - The Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) has opened recently the new official Internet Website (www.kase.kz) - "Music of the financial tools". The previous site of Exchange has been created and supported by USAID, and has been closed since April 01, 2000.

Creation of tThe new server of Exchanges is a joint project KASE, IRBIS agency and Actis System Asia (Almaty, firm-builder). It exceeds the old one by the information volume and by the technological level. Today server is in the stage of improvement and its official opening will be later. But the most part of sections are prepared to use. After completion of work, some of them will become pay.

The new server KASE shows the Kazakhstan stock exchange as well as the financial market of Kazakhstan. It offers an unique possibility to observe the Exchanges trades in the real-time mode. The brief description of the main sections are given below.

HOME PAGE ( see more

This pare shows the main information on exchange stock market of Kazakhstan as tables with market indicators, including: - Weighted average Exchange rates of all foreign currencies against tenge that are traded at KASE on different settlement terms. - The latest prices of futures contracts. - Current yield of Kazakhstani euronotes by the results of the last trades (section "External debt"). - Weighted average yields to maturity of domestic SS by the results of the last trades (section "Internal debt"). - Current repo rates in SS sector, ranked by borrowing terms. - Current capitalization of the Exchange market for corporate securities and the volumes of the deals made in them on the last session.

Interesting feature of the table is that it allows you to get the graphs of the changes in each market indicator for last three months.

TRADES ( see more

This section offers ives you a unique opportunity to observe the trades on any working at the moment trade floors of KASE in real-time mode: Sector of foreign currencies;
Sector of futures contracts;
Sector of state securities;
Sector of corporate securities.

Selection one of the interests sector gives an access to the frame, which constantly receives the trade data from the Trading system of KASE and updates them on the screen. The button "Specifications" redirects to the page with detailed specification of financial instruments that can be traded in the sector of the market that you are interested in. The screen button "Trade schedule" allows to find out the schedule of the trades held at KASE. The button "Instruction" allows to find some useful advices regarding the browser adjustment.

INSTRUMENST ( see more

This section starts with the page that informs you of the working schedule of KASE trade floors. Names of financial instruments, given on this page, serve as hyperlinks that allow you to get a detailed specification of each instrument on the screen.

ISSUERS ( see more

This is the most comprehensive section of the server (about 900 pages) devoted to the issuers, whose securities are traded at the Exchange. The section begins with summary table of KASE trade lists that contain constantly updated data that can influence the market capitalization of the company.

Hyperlink system of this page allows to get both trade (historical and current) information on each securities and detailed information on their issuers. It is possible to find following information on listed companies: general information, brief characteristics, their shareholders, aggregate financial economic ratios based on the data of the issuer and that of independent auditors, prudential norms and structure of the assets and liabilities and equities (for banks), as well as original financial statements of the issuer for a few reporting periods. All documents, used as the source of information for these pages, were obtained by official means only within listing requirements of KASE and certified by the head of each company.

At the beginning of the section - weekly reviews of currency exchange and stock markets of Kazakhstan with the ability of getting historical information.

Subsection "KASE news" - major events at the Exchange, beginning from January 1, 2000.

Subsection "News of financial market" grants an access to the tape with similar title of the Information agency for financial markets "IRBIS" that contains 15-35 news blocks on financial markets of Kazakhstan a day. Historical database contains information from August 1998. It is possible to make a context-based search through the database.

Subsection "Macroindicators" is reserved (under development) for the database of major macroindicators of Kazakhstan in the context not usual for official structures of the country.

GENERAL INFORMATION ( see more

These are the data of KASE: general information about the Exchange (requisites, authorized capital, shareholders, management structure etc), list of telephone numbers and emails of KASE employees and that of the agency "IRBIS" employees (subsection "KASE employees"), KASE annual reports (subsection "KASE reports"), as well as comprehensive directory of normative base of the Exchange (subsection <"ormative base"). The latter grants you full access to the documents that regulate all aspects of KASE.

KASE MEMBERS ( see more

The section contains the list of all the members of Kazakhstan stock exchange with their membership categories and specifications of these categories. Hyperlinks allow to get the reference information on your screen that contain full title of the company-member of KASE, its address, telephones, e-mail, name of the head etc.

It should be noted that presented list of sections is not the final version of electronic representative of KASE on Internet. The server is constantly modified and the Exchange has more long term plans for further development of its website both in terms of modern information and trading technologies and in terms of further collection of information on Kazakhstani financial market.

Important aspect of the website is its full-fledged English version that completely duplicates its Russian version (it is expand now, follow the news).

There is a possibility of sending "a feedback", and other ideas such as the page for conferencing, automatic subscription to information products, access to the trade database of KASE and many others are also planned.
