By results of "Thomson Reuters’ Extel" survey, JSC VISOR Capital, has been ranked as "Best Brokerage Company" within the sector "Frontier Markets (inc Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan)".

The Extel Survey is awarded based on votes of institutional investors. The voting is the largest survey that covers over 7,500 participants from 62 countries and collects over 250,000 votes.

Visor Capital gained this award for the fifth time and Visor Capital was ranked #1 well ahead of its nearest competitors, based upon commissions paid by institutional investors, within the “Frontier Markets (incl. Kazakhstan & Kyrgyzstan)" category.

The Extel Survey 2013 survey allows finding two trends. First of all, the global brokers took the leading positions in almost all categories, and only VISOR Capital is one of the companies, which took the first place in its category. This means that portfolio managers and buy-side analysts prefer cooperation with specialized brokers and knowledge of local specifics is important, in particular, when working on frontier markets.

Second of all, as the world is becoming more global as well as the Extel Survey. If five years ago the voting category was called "Kazakhstan", today it is called "Developing Europe, Middle East and Africa / Frontier Markets (incl. Kazakhstan & Kyrgyzstan)". Therefore, VISOR Capital extends analytical support (at present on markets of Central Asia, Mongolia and Georgia) and hopes the clients will find these services useful.
