The development of the social sector in Pavlodar region will be again supported by ENRC (EURASIAN NATURAL RESOURCES CORPORATION). Today CEO of ENRC PLC Felix Vulis and akim of Pavlodar region Erlan Aryn signed a mutual cooperation memorandum for implementation of social programs.

The memorandum's total amount made up over KZT2.1 bn. Funding will be provided by corporate foundation "ENRC Komek" and JSC "TNC "Kazchrome", JSC "Aluminum of Kazakhstan", JSC "Kazakhstan electrolyze plant" and "Euroasian energy corporation", all parts of ENRC.

According to the memorandum the company will fund projects jointly selected by the parties and aimed at development of healthcare, education, culture and sports. Aid will be provided to public organizations and those supporting socially vulnerable groups. There are 50 projects and beneficiaries in the list.

Funding of construction of social facilities is to be pointed out. This is sponsorship of construction of a swimming pool for talented children in sports for conducting tournaments and training in Pavlodar, construction of summer playgrounds as part of investment project "Sports and fitness center" in the town of Aksu with almost KZT900 mln earmarked.

Support of educational and special children organizations will be continued. Charity aid for repair, purchase of equipment and furniture will be provided to Ushkulyn school in Bayanauyl district, kindergartens in Pavlodar, family children's village, regional center for rehabilitation of disabled children. As before, among the memorandum's priorities – aid to veterans, disabled persons, large families and other socially vulnerable groups.

In addition the town of Aksu will receive free of charge outer engineering communications of residential buildings whose repair cost the company more than KZT90 mln.

Over the past nine years ENRC has been annually funding the most important socio-economic projects in the country's four regions, where the Group's enterprises are stationed. Earlier ENRC signed cooperation memorandums for 2013 with administrations of Karagandy and Kostanai regions. A similar agreement is supposed to be concluded with administration of Aktobe region. This year the combined amount of projects included in four memorandums makes up around KZT4.4 bn.
