JSC NC "KazMunayGas" announces that The Rompetrol Group (100% subsidiary) through its subsidiary Rompetrol Well Services (RWS) entered markets of Hungary and Bulgaria. The company renders in those countries special services involving wells maintenance based on agreements worth a total of over USD800,000.

• Good outlooks for the Black Sea region are based on confirmed natural gas deposits in the north-west of Bulgaria, hydrocarbon resources in eastern Ukraine, even in the east of Hungary. There is great deal of geothermal energy capable of becoming an alternative power source. The medium-term plan of Rompetrol Well Services envisages an extension of services being rendered, and that intention falls back on the rich experience acquired and is maintained through a network of the enterprise's operating bases located in Romania, as well as its ability to quickly mobilize forces, equipment and manpower in neighboring countries with the least expenses possible, - says Adrian Stenesku, general director of Rompetrol Well Services.
