/IRBIS, August 26, 2011/ - On August 25, 2011 on the Commodity Exchange "ETC" trades of deliverable commodity futures contracts were held.
On August 25 the following deals have been concluded:
- 20 deals with contracts for refined gold in bullions for delivery in September 2011, with 12 open positions. Volume of transactions was KZT 93,638,729.81. The minimum selling price amounted to 1,708.6 U.S. dollars for 1 troy ounce, max - 1,748.4 U.S. dollars per 1 ounce.
- 1 deal with contracts for refined gold in bullions for delivery in December 2011. The volume of transactions amounted to 1,258,954 tenge. The transaction price amounted to 1,720 U.S. dollars for 1 ounce.
- 6 deals with the mini-contracts on refined silver for delivery in September 2011, with 28 open positions. Volume of transactions was 52,226.11 tenge. The minimum selling price was 39 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, highest - 39.8 U.S. dollars per 1 ounce.
- 126 transactions with mini-contracts on refined gold bullion for delivery in September 2011 with 112 open positions. Volume of transactions was 6,976,402.95 tenge. The minimum selling price was 1,704 U.S. dollars for 1 troy ounce, maximum - 1,850 U.S. dollars for 1 ounce.
- 17 transactions with mini-contracts on crude oil for delivery in September 2011 with 88 open positions. Volume of transactions was 501,265.74 tenge. The minimum selling price was 108.5 U.S. dollars per 1 barrel, maximum - 111.2 U.S. dollars per 1 barrel.
- 1 deal with contracts for refined silver for delivery in September 2011, with 12 open positions. The volume of transactions amounted to 146,207.01 tenge. The transaction price amounted to 39.95 U.S. dollars a troy ounce.
- 7 deals with contracts for crude oil for delivery in September 2011, with 14 open positions. Volume of transactions was 3,728,831.47 tenge. The minimum selling price was 110.33 U.S. dollars per 1 barrel, maximum - 111.02 USD for a barrel.
Settlement prices of futures for wheat of class 3 with delivery in September, October and December 2011 and January 2012 have not changed and amounted to 30,000, 32,300, 31,400, 33,300 tenge per ton, respectively. The settlement price of futures for wheat of class 3 with delivery in November 2011 decreased by 0.66% and amounted to 30,300 tenge per ton, for delivery in February 2012 - at 3.92% and amounted to 30,600 tenge per ton.
The estimated price of mini-contracts on copper for delivery in September 2011 did not change and amounted to KZT 13,005 per 10 kilograms.
The estimated price of mini-contracts for wheat for delivery in September 2011 decreased by 0.99% to 4,030 tenge per 100 kilograms.
The estimated contract price for refined silver for December delivery fell by 7.04% and reached 39.33 U.S. dollars a troy ounce.
The estimated contract price of crude oil for delivery in October 2011 rose by 1.43% to 110.16 U.S. dollars a barrel.
