/IRBIS, August 9, 2011/ - On August 8, 2011 on the Commodity Exchange "ETC" trades of deliverable commodity futures contracts were held.

On August 8 the following deals have been concluded:

• 31 deals with contracts for refined gold in bullions for delivery in September 2011, with 52 open positions. Volume of transactions was KZT 389,377,718.2. The minimum selling price amounted to 1,703.0 U.S. dollars for 1 troy ounce, max - 1,715.5 U.S. dollars per 1 ounce.
• 9 deals with contracts for refined gold in bullions for delivery in December 2011, with 28 open positions. Volume of transactions was KZT 81,723,517.25. The minimum selling price amounted to 1,707.9 U.S. dollars for 1 troy ounce, max - 1,719.8 U.S. dollars per 1 ounce.
• 13 transactions with mini-contracts on refined silver for delivery in August 2011, with 66 open positions. Volume of transactions was 137,036.31 tenge. The minimum selling price was 39.01 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, maximum - 42.53 U.S. dollars for 1 ounce.
• 160 transactions with mini-contracts on refined gold bullion for delivery in August 2011 with 472 open positions. Volume of transactions was 7,837,620.09 tenge. The minimum selling price amounted to 1,695.8 U.S. dollars for 1 troy ounce, max - 1,714.9 U.S. dollars per 1 ounce.
• 5 deals with mini-contracts on copper for delivery in August 2011, with 8 open positions. The volume of transactions amounted to 84,770 tenge. The minimum selling price amounted to 13,600 tenge per 10 kilograms, maximum - 14,245 tenge per 10 kilograms.
• 37 transactions with mini-contracts on crude oil for delivery in August 2011 at 254 open positions. Volume of transactions was 1,293,342.67 tenge. The minimum selling price was 105.01 U.S. dollars per 1 barrel, maximum - 107.75 dollars for a barrel.
• 3 deals with the mini-contracts for wheat for delivery in August 2011, with 14 open positions. The volume of transactions amounted to 11,120 tenge. The minimum selling price was 3,705 tenge per 100 kilograms, maximum - 3m710 tenge per 100 kilograms.
• 21 deals with contracts of refined silver for delivery in December 2011. Volume of transactions was KZT 205,032,105.5. The minimum selling price was 39.80 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, maximum - 40.25 U.S. dollars for 1 ounce.
• 8 deals with contracts for crude oil for delivery in August 2011. Volume of transactions was 1,879,291.23 tenge. The minimum selling price was 106.6 U.S. dollars per 1 barrel, maximum - 107.25 dollars for a barrel.

The settlement price of futures for wheat of class 3 with delivery in August 2011 decreased by 0.32% and amounted to KZT 31,500 per tonne, for delivery in October, 2011 - by 0.58% and amounted to 34,500 tenge per ton, for delivery in December 2011 - 0.29% and amounted to 34,700 tenge per ton, for delivery in January 2012 - by 1.72% and amounted to 34,900 tenge per ton.

Settlement prices of futures for wheat of class 3 with delivery in September and November 2011 have not changed and amounted to 31,700 and 37,500 tenge per ton, respectively.

Settlement prices of futures for wheat of class 4 for delivery in August, September, October, November and December 2011 and January 2012 have not changed and amounted to 37,500, 37,000, 37,240, 35,100, 28,500 and 28,700 tenge per ton, respectively.

The estimated contract price for refined silver for delivery in September 2011 rose by 1.31% and amounted to 39.8 U.S. dollars per 1 ounce.

The estimated contract price of crude oil for delivery in September 2011 decreased by 2.26% to 105.78 U.S. dollars a barrel.
