/IRBIS, July 22, 2011/ - JSC "Insurance Company "Eurasia" has carried out payment of reinsurance on the damage to underwater pipeline, owned by PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP), informs the press service of the insurance company.

PVEP is part of the largest Vietnamese oil and gas group Petrovietnam Oil and Gas Group, which is 100% owned by the government of Vietnam and controls all oil and gas resources of the country. PetroVietnam performs exploration and mining projects not only in Vietnam but also in countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Mongolia, Algeria.

As indicated, the property interest of the corporation was reinsured in JSC "IC "Eurasia". As part of its share of the responsibility JSC "Insurance Company "Eurasia" carried out payment of reinsurance in excess of four thousand dollars.

In addition, the IC "Eurasia" to recover the costs associated with the settlement of the loss, in which was involved a specialized inspection company.
