/IRBIS, June 10, 2011/ - National company KazMunaiGas has completed the acquisition of 100% stake in the authorized capital of the LLP Aktaunefteservis, according to press service of NC KMG.

"June 10, 2011 in Almaty KazMunayGas (hereinafter - KMG) has completed the acquisition of 100% stake in the authorized capital of the LLP Aktaunefteservis (hereinafter - ANS). ANS activity associated with the provision of oilfield services JSC Mangistaumunaigaz (more than 90% of services)", - was stated in the message.

As indicated, the buyer is a company ANS Cooperative KMG PKI UA (100% subsidiary of KMG), which owns 50% of the MMG. The cost of the acquisition of ANS was 334 million U.S. dollars.

"The project will improve the quality of services provided ANS, which will cause a synergetic effect for the Group's EP. In addition, the change of private investors - the owners of ANS to KazMunaiGas" will enhance social stability, both within the group of ANS, and in the region", - the report says.

ANS is an organization of holding type, which owns 100% shares of the following: LLP "Oil Service Company" - drilling, overhaul and repair of underground wells, chemicalization process oil, and others (3300 people) Inc. "Oil Construction Company" - SMR, construction of industrial facilities, power lines, roads, erection and dismantling of the drilling equipment (2100) Ltd.
