Government of Kazakhstan has established preferential tariffs on imported cars by individuals for personal use
/IRBIS, July 7, 2010/ - The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan has established preferential tariffs on the import of passenger cars by individuals for personal use.
This is determined by Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan from July 1, 2010 # 682 "On issues of movement of cars by individuals for personal use.
As stated, the Government of Kazakhstan has decided to declare at customs cars for personal use, imported into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, individuals are paid flat rates of customs duties and taxes.
Resolution will enter into effect from the date of first publication. Text of decision published today in the official press.
The annex to the resolution there are flat rates of customs duties and taxes payable by individuals on importation into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan of cars for personal use:
- If the initial import of cars by individuals is a single rate of customs duties and taxes are as follows:
- for passenger cars, since the release of which has been more than three but not more than 10 years:
- with a cylinder capacity not exceeding 1 500 cm3 - 0.35 euro per 1 cm3 cylinder capacity;
- of a cylinder capacity exceeding 1 500 cm3 but not exceeding 3,000 cm3 - 0.4 euro per 1 cm3 cylinder capacity;
- with a cylinder capacity over 3000 cm3 - 0.6 euro per 1 cm3 cylinder capacity.
- When submitting a calendar year to the customs declaration of two or more cars purchased for personal use, a single rate of customs duties and taxes are as follows:
- for passenger cars, since the release of which has been more than three but not more than 7 years:
- with a cylinder capacity not exceeding 1.000 cm3 - 0.85 euro per 1 cm3 cylinder capacity;
- of a cylinder capacity exceeding 1,000 cm3 but not exceeding 1,500 cm3 - 1 euro per 1 cm3 cylinder capacity;
- of a cylinder capacity exceeding 1,500 cm3 but not exceeding 1,800 cm3 - 1.5 euro per 1 cm3 cylinder capacity;
- of a cylinder capacity exceeding 1,800 cm3 but not exceeding 3,000 cm3 - 2 euro per 1 cm3 cylinder capacity;
- with a cylinder capacity over 3000 cm3 - 2.25 euro per 1 cm3 cylinder capacity;
- for passenger cars, since the release of which has been more than 7 years but not more than 10 years:
- with a cylinder capacity not exceeding 3,000 cm3 - 2 euro per 1 cm3 cylinder capacity;
- with a cylinder capacity over 3,000 cm3 - 3 euro per 1 cm3 cylinder capacity.
