In Astana opens the Kazakh-French technology transfer center

/IRBIS, July 2, 2010/ - July 2, 2010 at 15:00 in the Astana Economic Forum's opening ceremony of the Kazakh-French Centre of technology transfer with the Secretary of State for Foreign Trade of France Mrs. Anne-Marie Idrac dedicated to the Day of the capital, reports today's press office of the Forum.

Also, the event will be attended by Mr. Nurmukhamet Abdibekov Vice Minister of Industry and new technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Sayat Nyusupov Chairman of the Board of JSC Center for Engineering and Technology Transfer, Mr. Jean-Charles Burton Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France in the Republic of Kazakhstan, French Senator Emery de Montesquiou, Mr. Olivier Darrazon President of the European Company for Strategic Studies "CEIS".

As indicated in the development of technology transfer and implementation of state program "Road to Europe" for 2009-2011 under the Treaty on Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the French Republic from June 11, 2008 was signed participation agreement between the JSC "Center for Engineering and Technology Transfer "and by the European Strategic Research" CEIS "(France) Education Consortium Kazakh-French Centre for Technology Transfer" with the further establishment in Kazakhstan joint venture, whose work will focus on the real economy of Kazakhstan through joint projects.

Previously, in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on October 2, 2009 # 1517 "On Signing of Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the French Republic's human development sector of the economy based on innovation" during the state visit of French President Nicolas Sarkozy Republic of Kazakhstan, held on Oct. 6, 2009 in Astana signed an intergovernmental agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the French Republic in the development of real sector of the economy on the basis of innovation.

Pursuant to an intergovernmental agreement April 6 - 7, 2010, was signed participation agreement for the formation of the Consortium of the Kazakh- French Centre for technology transfer between JSC ETTC and the company CEIS with the further establishment of the Republic of Kazakhstan joint venture, stated in the press-service.
