OPEC likely will leave as an unchanged the existing quotas on oil production

/IRBIS, September 9, 09 / - Monitoring Group of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) recommended to cartel to maintain the existing quotas for the production of oil and strengthen the enforcement of quotas, specified in the statement issued by agency Bloomberg today.

"We need more consistency with existing production targets, said Kuwaiti Oil Minister Sheikh Ahmad al-Abdullah al-Sabah journalists in Vienna. "I do not foresee any restrictions," he said, replying to a question on what level the cartel may consider further cuts in supply.
