/IRBIS, January 12, 09/ - At the end of December 2008 IRBIS Information Agency of Financial Markets LLP (IRBIS agency) informed on results of pilot project on using the "Stock simulator" program, which is the joint creation of IRBIS agency and Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), intended to educate future economic profession specialists on KASE trade system.

Pilot training project on the basis of "Stock simulator" program, was launched on December 1, 2008 on Kazakhstan-Britain technical university (KBTU) basis for students of financial and economic school of KBTU to have practical training. In compliance with tripartite treaty among IRBIS agency, KASE and KBTU, students` practical training was organized at KASE selling space till December 15, 2008.

During the training, the process of education of participants was organized in the form of team-emulative training under conditions close to financial instruments real trade on KASE. At that, while taking investment decision on purchase and/or sale of securities, participants should have used information on real market situation, provided by IRBIS agency.

When completing the pilot project, creators analyzed results and recognized them as fully correspondent to given aims. According to creators and participants, after the launching of "Stock simulator" program we have fully technical system on educating stock trades under real conditions of Kazakhstan stock market.

Since year 2009 KBTU plans to use "Stock simulator" program to educate students on permanent basis and will regularly receive actual stock information, becoming for this aim the one of the clients of IRBIS agency.

Creation of "Stock simulator" program was initiated by specialists of IRBIS agency in 2007. Activity was started from examining the experience of the same systems at the world developed stock markets.

Specialists of KASE Software support department, which gained identity of technical characteristics of "Stock simulator" program and KASE real trade system and provided permanent educating program support by KASE technical service, were engaged in engineering development of "Stock simulator" program.
