ENRC sends offer to minority shareholders of Serovskiy ferroalloy plant for stock redemption
/INTERFAX, Ekaterinburg, November 27, 08/ - Primary holding Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation (ENRC), possessing 75.3 % share of Russian Serovskiy ferroalloy plant OJSC (SFP, Sverdlovskaya obl.) sent a mandatory offer for redemption of shares to minority shareholders.
According to SFP, the price of redemption was determined in amount of RUB108.88 per one security.
Serovskiy ferroalloy plant OJSC is producing chrome containing alloys.
According to the report of the company, for the third quarter, 2008 ENRC N.V. (Netherlands) owns 75.3% shares of the plant, Industrial Metals LLC (Moscow) - 19.73 %.
In April, 2008 ENRC became the owner of 75.3% shares of Serovskiy ferroalloy plant. In fact, the company entered the ENRC group (earlier - Eurasian Industrial Association, EIA) last spring, when EIA purchased a company - a shareholder of the plant.
ENRC consolidated assets of such companies as Kazchrome, Aluminum Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan electrolysis plant, Zhayremskiy mining and processing combine, Sokolovsko Sarbayskoe mining and processing production association, Eurasia Energy Corporation, ENRC Logistics and ENRC Marketing & Sales.
