/KASE, January 21, 08/ - On Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) due to a holiday in U.S., the evening trades, united with the extra day session, in U.S. dollar on TOM and SPOT terms, in euro on TOM terms took place. 17 banks participated in the trades.

In euro on TOM terms no deals have been made. Bid and offer were absent.

In U.S. dollar on TOM terms, the weighted average exchange rate of US dollar totaled KZT120.50 per unit, the volume of trades were USD55.165 m.

In U.S. dollar on SPOT terms, the weighted average exchange rate of US dollar totaled KZT120.52 per unit, the volume of trades were USD1.500 m.

In the over-the-counter currency market the indicative dollar quotations in the information system REUTERS at 5:00 p.m. AST were KZT120.50/120.60 per dollar.
