/INTERFAX-KAZAKHSTAN, Almaty, June 8, 07/ - In Kazakhstan will be created the register of independent directors, had informed the chairman of board of national council for corporate management Yerkin Kaliyev on the press-conference on Friday in Almaty.

By his information, it is planning to finish work for creation of register on autumn of the current year.

"Thus, will be created in order Kazakhstan and foreign companies will have ability to chose various candidatures", - he told.

The creation of register together is making by national council of Kazakhstan for corporate management and Kazakhstan association of independent directors (KAID), founded in May of the current year.

The executive director of KAID Rustam Zhursunov informed on this press- conference that association intends to conduct the analysis of need in independent directors.

Meanwhile, by words of K.Kaliyev, in Kazakhstan the need in independent directors in the closest time will exceed 200 persons.

"Now, according to estimations, are working not less than 150 independent directors. Considering the plans of number of our companies to enter the listing the need in these directors will make more than 200 persons. Independent director - is the advantage of company, and if the company wants to be public, to capitalize - it is clear that they cannot do without institution of independent directors", - he told.

AS R.Zhurnusov stressed, the objective of creation of KAID is development in republic of institution of independent directors. Its man tasks are consolidation of professional community of independent directors, working of professional an ethical standards of their work and also rendering of help to increase of professional level of independent directors.
