Bank TuranAlem to perform credit for $500 m in yen
/INTERFAX, Moscow, March 5, 07/ - Kazakhstan commercial bank TuranAlem (BTA) is completing signing the agreement on delivery of mandates to banks ING, SMBCE and Standard Chartered to perform the credit for $500 m., which will be borrowed in yen, Thomson Financial agency informed.
Last year BTA borrowed the syndicate credit for $1.111 bn on the world market.
The bank TuranAlem JSC by totals of the first half-year 2006 has occupied the sixth place among CIS banks and the second position around Kazakhstan in terms of volume of assets in the ranking of "Interfax-1000", made up by "Interfax-CEA".
