ATFBank JSC (Kazakhstan) can sell 20-25% shares to EBRD

/REUTERS, Almaty, November 13, 06, the title, made by IRBIS/ - Shareholders of ATFBank , which is the fifth bank of Kazakhstan in terms of size, is carrying out the negotiations with European Bank of reconstruction and development (EBRD) about selling of 20-25% shares, it is said in the prospect of eurobonds issue of ATFBank.

"The managing commission of the bank is aware of the procedure of talks with EBRD about selling of the holding from 20 to 25%," it is said in the prospect of the issue of termless bonds for $100 m., being offered last week.

The prospect was published as the news report of London stock exchange on Friday morning.

ATF-bank informed earlier that it might conduct IPO on external markets in 2007.

The main shareholder of the bank - the managing person over the president's affairs of Kazakhstan Bulat Utemuratov, which owns about 46% shares.

EBRD is a minority shareholder of two biggest Kazakhstan banks - Kazkommertsbank and TuranAlem.
