Overview of H1 2024 operating results
On July 15, 2024, Chairman of KASE's Management Board Alina Aldambergen presented the performance indicators of the exchange market for the first half of 2024 at a press conference.
The total volume of trading on KASE in the reporting period amounted to 187.2 trillion tenge having increased by 18.7 % YoY.
KASE Index value increased by 23.0% – to 5,151.81 points.
The stock market capitalization increased by 20.8 % – to 32.3 trillion tenge.
As of July 1, 2024, KASE trading lists featured 698 names of corporate securities of 252 issuers. Since the beginning of 2024, securities of 15 new issuers have passed the listing procedure: one in the equities sector, one – in the KASE Global sector and 13 – in the corporate bonds sector.
