KASE Talks – open lectures (December)
In honor of its 25th anniversary, the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange holds a series of lectures KASE Talks with the participation of famous Kazakh financiers who have made a significant contribution to the construction and development of the financial market of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On December 5, 2018 at 17:00 o'clock, Anvar Saidenov, a well-known financier who held high government posts in Kazakhstan, will give a lecture during KASE Talks. A graduate of M. Lomonosov Moscow State University (majoring in Political Economy) and the University of London (Master of Science in Economics of Finance).
Anvar Saidenov – ex-Chairman of the National Bank, the former vice-minister of finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan. At various stages of his career, he headed the State Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Investments, the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Investments, and BTA Bank JSC. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of a number of Kazakhstan's banks, such as Bank RBK JSC, Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan JSC, SB Bank Home Credit JSC, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Almaty International Airport JSC. Currently – a member of the Board of Directors of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan.
The purpose of KASE Talks is to raise awareness of the broad public audience on the conditions in which the financial market of the country has emerged and main factors that affected its development.
The objective of KASE Talks is to promote the financial market of Kazakhstan further and to provide information on the Exchange’s activities and the stock market as a whole.
